After reading Suzi booklet, I came to know that "Three Smiles" was filmed post Huang Mei Diao era. SB was not sure if it would sell like hot cakes or not because Wu Xia was already very popular, it did!! This movie was a success and we were able to see Ling Po again in her "male" role. Li Ching had the sweetest smile that I have ever seen! I love her dimples!

This is the second best Huangmei opera of my beloved iconic idol, Ling Po!I had watched it 8 times and loved every part of it.
Beautiful music and songs, the superb colour and costumes and of course, the lovely Ivy Ling Po and Li Jing who looked great and acted so well together! The script was well presented too, making the story very fluent. Ivy as a male impersonator looked so cute and handsome and definitely had given me 3 smiles in my sleep! I am so happy to have owned 2 VCDs and a DVD of this movie. I am sure they will keep me entertained forever. Don't miss this supreme Huangmei Opera!
