剧情描述两男一女的好朋友关系.
钟镇涛扮演物理学教授的独子，喜欢弹吉他作曲演唱，借音乐来追寻未来的路。江明是与钟镇涛身世相反的好朋友. 林凤娇是广播节目“早安台北”的主持人，也是江明的女朋友。
整部影片处理得最成功的地方，就是他们之间的三角感情关系，发生得自然，而彼此间的言行表达又是如此含蓄，把人生的无奈感刻画得十分细腻。但在有些枝节问题的处理上，却显得有点虚浮，想讲的事太多，讲得有点暧昧不清。
