Synopsis
Brigitte and Charlie, a loving couple whose relationship was strongly objected by Charlie's mother. This had caused Brigitte to marry Chin Han, her childhood boyfriend with whom she was never in love. Tragedy began when Charlie decided to reconcile with Brigitte..........
A very romantic movie ! Outstanding performances by Brigitte and Charlie. The 4 evergreen songs sung by Fong Fei Fei are memorable. The only flaw is Charlie and Chin Han have never appeared together in a scene throughout the movie.........

Love triangle in movie and real life and didn't end good. Nice song though!
"Cloud Of Romance" is fantastic! The story is crisp and tragic, encompassing a saga of passion, relationships and families. If you enjoyed a real romantic sad story and who didn't? This should appeal.
Charlie Chin's performance is promising. He looks breathtakingly young, healthy and handsome. His reactions range from joy, surprise, outrage to total sorrow, which are all manifested over him.
Lin Chin-sia's portrayal as an emotional 'mixed-up' lady who's torn between 2 lovers in this film also deserves every accolade.
Chin Han, on the other hand, is blessed with good look and his role as an understanding, loyal and patient husband to his beautiful, much admired wife (Lin Chin-sia) is very moving. Sadly, one slip at work because of lack of sleep has cost him his life and left his wife mentally unstable!
When I think about it at the end of the movie, I just can't imagine the tragedy occurs because of one woman and that's Charlie's mother who disapproves of his son's love and happiness! Oh boy, she definitely looks fierce and uncompromising! And I wondered how she would have reacted in the end when her son decided to take care of his mentally-ill girlfriend for good?
