Synopsis

I have read this "Qiong Yao" novel long before the movie was made, and I love the story as well as the movie. Chen Chen, as usual, in her convincing role. I especially like "Ge Hsiang Ting" in the father role, he was an excellent actor! Charlie Chin Xiang Lin did a very good job here. I would give this movie a perfect score!
I am utterly bowled over by Qiong Yao's indisputable screenplay. Her prodigious storytelling skills deliver both vivid settings and characters smartly portrayed by Chen Chen, Charlie Chin Siang Lin and a few others..........
This film is truly well peppered with love, hate, betrayal and some occasional real-life drama. The love between Charlie and Chen Chen is endearing but the hate between Charlie and his father and siblings is heartbreaking and indescribable! The constant bickering of the offspring no doubt sends their father to early grave in the end!
Chen Chen looks young, fresh and attractive. Her portrayal as a remarkable nurse, whose intellect, determination and compassion has earned her much respect and admiration from her feisty boss.
Charlie Chin, on the other hand, seems to relish his role extremely well with a potent combination: fiery, stubborn and opinionated. Still, he's a fabulous-looking man and just watching him on the screen will make his fans tingle!
Last but not least, the theme song is refreshing and invigorating....Just like a huge bar chocolate..........irresistible!!

Chen Chen and Charlie Chin make a good on-screen couple. From the show, now that I know that hypocrites cry the loudest when someone died. Being a radiographer myself, I definitely do not want to be called 'X Guang' by other people. Haha..
