"The Jade Tiger" is indeed another renowned adaptation of Ku Lung's classic novel which contains excellent plots, intriguing twists and strong insightful message that makes it very entertaining and well worth watching.

This intellectual Ku Lung's novel highlights Director Chu Yuan's determination to gather an extraordinary cast that includes not only Ti Lung as the lead but the first rate supporting cast (Loh Lieh, Yeh Hua, Ku Feng, Derek Yee, Tsui Siu Keng, Li LiLi, Shih Sze etc....) to deliver a special showcase with lots of mind-boggling plots, surprises, devious double-crosses..........though intense but irresistible! Thus, it whets my appetite for more. Also, their allegiance to Director Chu Yuan adds significantly to the film's success, no doubt.

Yeh Hua seems to always pick up virtuous roles of humanitarian disposition with earthy message like: quote "Victory or defeat lies within one's spirit and not in the weapon" in Full Moon Scimitar and here: quote "We are like pawns at other's disposal".

I will give my 2 thumbs up for the great performance, fantastic script, spectacular and magically transformed scenes from Shaws' Brother's sets and of course, the fighting choreography, which when appear, they are damn good and top-notch!

So, highly recommended because it is absolutely compelling, insightful and entertaining!
