One of the great swordplay classics which hits the box-office during its theatrical release in the ‘70s. Actors pulled off a stunning performance in several facets of a historical background, including swordplay, politics, filial piety and love . Thumps up !

Oh how I love this movie because it's based on history about saving General Yueh Fei (one of the persons in history that I respect and admire), and the casts are all to my liking. Their (hero and heroine) love was so strong and bonding that they united together to fight for a common cause. Ching Miao played one of the villains in this movie.
