"The Delightful Forest" features Ti Lung again as the heroic tiger killer, Wu Siong as seen in "Water Margin" and a few others epics which I couldn't quite remember now their titles........

Anyway, although this was a pretty much a glorified repeat of what had been seen in other Wu Siong's movies, it was not handled well with the script and pacing. In fact, I find the storylines were monotonous and non-compelling!And the tempo was maddeningly slow!

Unquestionably, "The Delightful Forest" was a visceral challenging stuff with much bloodbath and carnage; and Ti Lung was an old hand at those adrenaline-rush martial arts biff. Still, I find that Ti Lung's heroic persona started to wear thin after 30 minutes of agile punches and deadly kicks. I somewhat found them boring! The problem seemed to lie with the fact that he won every battle without much resistance!

In conclusion, the caliber of Ti Lung's performance as a Wu Siong in this movie had gone from above average to mediocre!
