Synopsis

Li Ching exudes her charm with this sweet and witty role. Chin Feng is good as her young and righteous lover. Many familiar San ker songs as in another Shaw movie “The Shepherd Girl”. The major flaw is the inconclusive finale.

Li ching played a courageous young peasant woman. She is not the typical timid and shy village girl but headstrong and courageous young lady. I'm glad to see a happy ending here!
