Synopsis
A Chinese version of the musical classic “Sound Of Music” !
An enthusiastic undergraduate took up a part time job as a home tutor. Her primary role was to coach five wild and mischievous children of a widowed pilot. However, she found herself challenging the dominant father of the five children as they had differences of the ways to educate and discipline the children. Despite of many disputes in due course, love blossomed between the two ……
Fun to see five adorable children laugh and play ! Nice to hear those merry songs ! A movie for those young at heart !

Thank you for posting these entries about Taiwan romance movies. I haven't seen this film with Lin Feng Chiao and Ke Chun Hsiung, must be one of the older films that they made, as I know that Ke Chun Hsiung used to be married to another Taiwanese actress, Chang Meiyao. Please post more reviews of Taiwan romance movies, I enjoy seeing the differences between them and the bigger budget SB productions.

' The Shining Spring ' was made in the mid-70s after Joan Lin had established her reputation in the romance movies genre. One of the child actors had even won an award in the Golden Horse Film Fest with his adorable role in this film.
