Oh yeah, I watched Ti Lung and Li Ching's "Clans Of Intrigue", directed by the acclaimed Director Chu Yuan a while back.

OMG, have I picked the right choice to start with?

Frankly, it's not bad at all. In fact, it's very good, exciting and thought provoking because the plots and subplots are sooo.....convoluted with many twists and turns!

Definitely one of those epics that needs repeated viewings in order to get the full grip and satisfaction from the screenplay.

So many stars are in this movie. It's ashamed that Chang Yi is killed off so soon right from the start. Highly recommended!

Hi Amelia,

I don't think Chang Yi was in this movie... He had left Shaw Studio when the film was shot... Hmmm.. another Chang Yi's look-a-like huh ?

Li Ching did very well in this movie......considering she had stiff competition in the form of Nora Miao and the lethal Betty Pei Ti.

Wish I can get the uncut version on DVD though.
