601 CREATION : Sing-Along Classic 2009 (03) ... 蔡琴经典 ... 庭院深深

This is my 601 post.

It’s the middle of the night and I’m sitting here, fingers on my

keyboard, wondering how I’m going to write this.

It is not related to any movie but just my personal account …

I’ve thought long and hard; I’ve thought of searching for the

best books, finding the best sites, perhaps asking my

friends on how to write this …

In the end, I decided to write simply from the bottom of my

heart.

And this is my message to you, my dearest mum…

Not fanciful …

Not elaborate …

Just some words from the bottom of my heart ….

‘ In memory of my mother, Madam Yap Suan Keow ‘ …

I thought of you with love,

Not just today,

But yesterday and days before.

I think of you in silence,

Calling out your name many times,

But all I have now are memories and your picture in a

frame.

Your memory is my keepsake with which we will never

part.

God has you in his keeping and I have you forever in

my heart ….

A tribute to my dearest mum ….

A Lawrence Tan Film …

Sing-Along Classic 2009 (03) …

Lawrence,
I'm really touched by your poem for your late mom, listening to this song and reading your dedication really brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure your mom will be very proud and happy to have a wonderful son like you!

To everyone, remember the fifth commandment of God: Honor thy father and thy mother!

That's a beautiful tribute to your mum, Lawrence. God has her for his keeping and you have her in your heart - and one day, you will meet her again in the beautiful, beautiful shore.

Almost every month I will drop by the columbarium to visit my parents. I am glad that they are in a better place right now.

God Bless
