Synopsis
An adaptation of Jin Yong's classic novel !
Two renowned swordsmen Miao and Hu, who had great respect for each other, challenged for supremacy in the martial world. A series of duels came to a draw, but in the final fight, Miao killed Hu accidentally with a blade that was secretly poisoned by his sworn brother Tien. Hu’s wife committed suicide, leaving her baby boy in the care of a tavern waiter who was on hot pursuit by Tien’s henchman.
Years later, the little boy grew up into a mischievous youth, learning the Hu Family Sabre from a manual that his parents had left . In his journey to avenge his father’s death, he met two girls and was trapped in a web of love…
A clear plot, well choreographed fight scenes and solid direction! Excellent performances from all leads… especially Alex Ma and Felix Wong..
