Synopsis
When a Perking Opera performer discovered his flirtatious wife’s affair with a corrupt official, he threatened the latter not to get near her; thus provoked the official to set a trap to kill him. It was then the performer’s younger brother to get revenge for his brother’s death ….

This hugely popular film has so much magic and finesse in action-packed martial art choreography (esp. by David's prodigious movements) that no doubt Chang Cheh had professed to celebrate!
Visually, the story has real sublime moments: seeing David with anguish and determination to avenge his brother's death and his heroic death in the end!
The film, however is also at its best in the zone between the all too familiar behavior of corrupted officials, the vanities of regimented tyrants and the hypocrisy of the society...........
