Today is the 7th day of the CNY, which is also known as " 人日 " .
On this day, a common practice for many Chinese is to have a sumptuous meal with the family or friends.
The first dish served will be “Yu Seng”, a traditional dish that believed will grant all a better luck and fortune throughout the year, be it in business or in studies.
Everyone at the table will thus raise their voice to say as many auspicious words such as “ 风山水起 ” ( great fortune ), “ 风调雨顺 ” ( smooth sailing ) …
