Bought this DVD for Ivy Ling Po. David Chiang is exceptionally effective as a young eunuch. Too bad I have to endure Lisa Lu's bitchy interpretation of the Empress Dowager. My wicked friend says she comes off as someone's wicked mother-in-law instead of someone imperious and regal. For that,you have to watch Li Li-hua in The Boxer Rebellion.
