The music of Butterfly Lovers played on the ancient zither was hauntingly beautiful.

I only find it strange that the Ying Tai here is not a diligent student. haha
This version is funny in the first part and heartbreaking in the second. With this movie, Nicky Wu secured a special place in my heart and can do no wrong forever. I can even forgive and forget all the mediocre movies he made after this one.

ReplyDeleteHuh?? Oh no amelia, during the latter part in school - this Shan Bo realised that Ying Tai is a girl in disguised. And the romance commences from there. That's the advantage of having a male and female in the lead roles. haha

I like this version of Liang-Zhu. NIcky Wu and Charlie Yeung are just LOVABLE ...
