  1. The music of Butterfly Lovers played on the ancient zither was hauntingly beautiful.

If you want to see how much the lovers feel for each other, then watch this version. So romantic!

I only find it strange that the Ying Tai here is not a diligent student. haha

  2. This version is funny in the first part and heartbreaking in the second. With this movie, Nicky Wu secured a special place in my heart and can do no wrong forever. I can even forgive and forget all the mediocre movies he made after this one.

  3. Well, it sounds like a promising movie. There is a version of "Butterfly Lovers" that signifies the love between 2 men, am I still on the same wavelength?

  4. Huh?? Oh no amelia, during the latter part in school - this Shan Bo realised that Ying Tai is a girl in disguised. And the romance commences from there. That's the advantage of having a male and female in the lead roles. haha

  7. A movie that makes you laugh, be in love then cry tragically... Classic. The only Nicky Wu show that I would recommend.
